What is the per transaction cost of using Paytia? Paytia charges a secure MOTO payment processing fee. The fee you pay depends on the plan you choose. Our rates start from 1.5% + 20p up to 2% + 20p depending on the plan you choose.

How does Paytia connect to my existing phone system? When you sign up to Paytia you receive a free payment phone number. You can forward calls from your existing phone system to Paytia, and we will forward the calls back with our payment service in the middle. How does Paytia connect to my existing Stripe account? It's easy! During the Paytia sign up process, we ask you to login to your Stripe account and click 'Authorise.' That's it! Integration done.

Why can't I use Stripe's dashboard to take payments over the phone? Transaction fees on cards entered manually in the Stripe Dashboard reflect the cost of higher fraud rates associated with collecting customer card details by phone or other unencrypted sources. Directly typing in sensitive customer data bypasses much of the security that’s built into Stripe’s online payments. As a result, Stripe see higher fraud rates on manually entered payments, leading to higher costs for Stripe.
